Which photographer's work do you personally prefer? Mikhail "Misha" Baryshnikov or Ben Lowy?

I think both of their styles are very different from each other and they both take such great photos, its hard to choose one from the other. I think, personally, I like Ben Lowys photography a little bit better, just because of how dangerous it can be.


What photo is Ben Lowy's tattoo based off of? Explain.

It's based off a photo he took of a man after the war, jumping into the river to cool off. He was with a tattoo artist and the artist asked him if he wanted a tattoo really quick before he closed shop, so the artist saw the picture and gave him a tattoo of it.


How does Ben Lowy take his photos during the Iraq War to show the soldier's perspective?

He took the pictures from the view of a war truck window.


Where does Baryshnikov go to photograph his work? What theme runs through his work?

The Dominican Republic. A lot of his photos are of people dancing.


Describe a photo you saw in the episode that you felt was an exceptional photo.

There was a photo that Baryshnikov took of a dancing girl and I just really liked it.
